july pop project. happiness.
i am a little late for the july pop project, but i am doing it anyway because this is something that has always proven to pull me out of the dumps and i need that because i am seriously crashing into real life after all the fun and friends of the country fair and that evilcat/poverty wedding.
so here goes, some things that make me happy:
a hug from my baby, a clean kitchen, a warm bed on a cool night, hearing tom laugh at my jokes, my camera, riding on the back of the motorcycle watching the river and woods pass by, waking up in the shade, bloody marys with friends after a good night, the smell of charcoal, buying a plane ticket, the sun spot in the living room, cocktails in the park, a new bra, peanut sauce, photobooth pictures, finishing projects, orange tulips, flip flops, the rain on a tired day, watching finn run in the country, creme brulee, piles of fabric, sharp scissors, david sedaris, soft denim, tattooed men, ultra fine sharpies, loud music on a warm night with a cold bottle of beer, getting stenciled for a new tattoo, turning off the engine and sitting in the middle of the water, dinner parties, naptime, full cupboards, lists.

I have to say that I've never been on the back of a motorcycle. I've always wanted to though. There's also nothing like tattooed men, orange tulips, a new bra, and creme brulee. Isn't creme brulee divine?
