evilcat and i went to the new h&m yesterday and marveled at all the low prices (and ok-fitting) cute clothes. i bought a big bright new scarf and a pair of tights to go with the boots that i will be buying in a few weeks when t and i go on our boot-buying date. i can't wait. fall will be ok when i can walk around in boots and tights and scarves and such. i might even lose enough weight to fit into my dresses. if not, i'll buy more at h&m! because holy god cheap!
then today i pre-ordered my new G1. i was hesitant to buy first generation anything, but with the return policy i figured if the UI sucks i can always send it back and get a replacement for my trusty blackberry. it kills me that i have to wait until the end of october to get it though! damn pre-ordering. no instant gratification in that at all. or is there? crap, whatever.
i've been enjoying the pictures on theselby. i love looking at photos of people's homes and spaces but it usually ends up sending me to ikea to replace our furniture or buy new shelves to display all our knickknacks and what have you. i've already moved all the furniture in our living room, guest room and jack's room in the last couple of weeks so shopping is the inevitable next step. (forget this rumored economic collapse, must. buy. stuff.)
in less expensive news, i downloaded michael moores slacker uprising. i haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but i am thinking that might be the perfect thing to do on sunday while t watches jack and the football games and i lock myself in the guest room and play online.

also, cori and jeff got married but i don't have any pictures of that because i was standing up there in a matching dress and sash and tom was roasting a pig and watching the baby and dogs. (he totally wins the best husband ever award for this past weekend.)

sunday morning

t is fishing, i had an embarrassing surgery (no details, sorry) that has me laid up in bed high on painkillers while my mother takes care of jack, we are heading to oregon again next week to watch hardcori get married, the weather is beautiful and i have been online for 3 straight days. i think. what day is it?
this is brilliant.
today i am going to make popcorn with garlic and cinnamon, is it the drugs or does that sound fantastic to anyone else?

i left for 3 days, rode with a few strangers and lived like a single girl for a bit. we drank too much, went to the porn store hungover, threw a party full of cheesy penis straws and trashy panties, sat in the hot tub, drank champagne, rode home with more strangers and then slept in my bed for 12 straight hours.
it was wonderful. and now i am going to dry out for a bit.
